MORNING COCKLE-SHELLS & SILVERBELLS (CHILD/PARENT PROGRAM AT RBG)
9:30 AM to 11:30 AM
9:30 - 11-30 a.m. Come and grow with us. Young children learn the basics of growing plants while having plenty of fun. Parents/caregivers and their 3 to 5 year-olds plant, cultivate and harvest a small garden together. Program includes fun activities, crafts and basic gardening techniques. Seeds, tools and a small garden plot are provided. PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED. On-line registration available. PLEASE NOTE that there are TWO time options, morning OR evening, and there are TWO Sessions, one beginning in May the second beginning in July. Sign up for one or both. Session one: Wednesdays, May 16 to June 20; 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. OR 6 to 8 p.m. at RBG Centre/Hendrie Park. Session two: Wednesdays, July 4 to August 8; 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. OR 6 to 8 p.m. at RBG Centre/Hendrie Park. Cost to RBG Members prior to deadline, $75; cost after deadline and to Non-members: $85.
