The Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, ON presents a 4-day event offering workshops and a 3-day symposium designed for landscape and horticulture practitioners, nursery trades, academics, and other interested stakeholders. Themes include sustainability of horticultural practices, the roles of horticulture in improving community livability, innovations in design and practice, greening the built environment, gardens and biodiversity, and others. Feb. 18 will feature an initiative to create a certification standard for sustainable landscapes, and a special industry panel convened by Landscape Ontario.
